In the first and second weeks, the egg meets the sperm. Ovulation typically occurs at the beginning of the third week of pregnancy. The fertilized egg undergoes cell division inside the fallopian tube, eventually attaching to the lining of the uterus. This process is called "implantation," which is accompanied by some mild symptoms, such as feelings of fatigue and exhaustion.
